De Melm is situated right on the Eem River, with a panoramic view of the Eempolder in the middle of the Nature Conservancy Arkemheem-Eemland and on the edge of the Utrecht Hills National Park. The “Soest Dunes” and Forests are close by. The area is ideal for biking and hiking. The B & B is walking distance from the Soestdijk train station (1.2 km) as well as to the Center of Soest. We are right near or directly on bike-routes and walking trails (Grebbelinie Trail, Trekvogel-and-Marskramers Trail, Klompen Trail).

Soestdijk Palace is 10 minutes biking from us.
You can also bicycle to the Center of Baarn in 15 minutes.
Train connections are easy to Utrecht, Amersfoort, Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport.
